The call traces suggest that the OHCI (USB 1.1 controller) driver got
stuck in a loop.  As the mouse and keyboard are attached to USB 1.1
ports, that would also explain why the GUI was unresponsive while it
was still possible to log in over the network.

No ideas beyond that at present.
