Bug#774301: linux-image-3.16.0-4-amd64: Wrong keyboard layout at boot when using luks encrypted filesystem
I found a solution to the problem.
My /etc/default/keyboard file was :
XKBLAYOUT=be
BACKSPACE=guess
I added this line :
XKBMODEL="pc105"
and it now works, I can type my password with the correct keyboard
layout. I still don't understand what happened and why the behavior
changed in the first place.
Best,
Thomas.
