Christoph, can you please provide us with some more information:

1. Can you attach the output of 'lspci', 'lsusb', 'lsmod' and 'dmesg'
commands? The 'dmesg' should be run after the problem occurred.

2. Is there any specific reason why you are using 'echo mem >
/sys/power/state' instead of 'pm-suspend'? If you can try 'pm-suspend',
does the problem also occur after using it?

3. Are you using any Desktop Environment (like Gnome, Kde or Xfce)? If
so, which one?
