Package: linux-2.6 Version: 2.6.32-45 Severity: normal Dear Kernel maintainers, On my laptop (a custom Sony Vaio which is the same as in bug #580901), there is no sound from the internal speaker, but the output jack plug works. On the other hand, the internal speaker works with linux-image-2.6.37-trunk-amd64 (the one which was in experimental). Please find the output of alsa-info.sh with both kernel, the output of amixer and of alsamixer (best read with less -r) As you see there is no 'Speaker bar' with 2.6.32 and the name of the chip is not
