Package: src:linux
Version: 3.2.60-1+deb7u3
Severity: normal
I'm using the et131x netcard driver for some years now. From time to time,
in a longer session, it stops working (no TX/RX), often - but not always -
immediate after Suspend to RAM/Resume cycle, which else works great.
dmesg and syslog then tell me,
Oct 15 21:19:49 leo kernel: [ 3791.790589] et131x 0000:01:00.0: reg 0x00000000 could not be read
Oct 15 21:19:49 leo kernel: [ 3791.790593] et131x 0000:01:00.0: status is 0xffffffff
Oct 15 21:19:49 leo kernel: [ 3794.004340] et131x 0000:01:00.0: Link down - cable problem ?
Oct 15 21:19:58 leo kernel: [ 3804.006560] et131x 0000:01:00.0: reg 0x00000001 could not be read
Oct 15 21:19:58 leo kernel: [ 3804.006565] et131x 0000:01:00.0: status is 0x00000003
Long time this was squeeze bpo, now I see the same on wheezy (no bpo), the
hypervisor is not loaded.
Yesterday I tried modprobe -r et131x after the bug occured, and the kernel
crashed. Photo shows a 'real' screenshot of this (Oops and so on).
I shortened the hardware info in order to keep some privacy, tell me if you
need more.
