Bug#749016: linux-image-3.14-1-amd64: initrd generated under 3.14-1 v3.14.4-1 does not load sd_mod, boot fails

Control: tag -1 moreinfo

You all reported this as a regression in 3.14. Has it been fixed in a
later kernel version?

If not:

1. Martin reported this as a regression when moving from 3.10 to 3.14;
did any of you use a later version (betwen 3.10 and 3.14) successfully?

2. Can someone provide a kernel log for a failed boot, before explicitly
loading sd_mod?

3. Can someone provide the output of this command when sd_mod is not
loaded:

for target in /sys/class/scsi_host/host*/device/target*/*:*; do
    if target="$(readlink -f "$target")"; then
        echo "[$target]"; cat "$target/uevent"; udevadm info -p "$target"
    fi
done > /run/scsi-target-info

(Files created under /run in the initramfs are preserved in the fully
booted system, so you'll be able to copy the file later.)

Ben.
