I think this is, effectively, a duplicate then of 652459 (add support to initramfs-tools to mount /usr).
The fact that l-m-t is attempting to detach itself from udev and failing to actually do so because of the pipe file descriptors is still "real", but if the initramfs mounts /usr, the impact is reduced to "harmless".
