Bug#747467: linux-image-3.14-1-amd64: backlight control broken on dell xps13

Package: src:linux
Version: 3.14.2-1
Severity: normal
Tags: patch

Dear Maintainer,

Hello,

Kernel 3.14 contains a regression wrt backlight control on the Dell XPS13 laptops.
Details can be found on http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=76276

That bugzilla link also contains fixes: either revert a change or apply another patch on top.

Would it be possible to consider either for 3.14?
