Package: src:linux
Version: 3.11~rc4-1~exp1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

It would seem that with the current RC of kernel 3.11 my display manager (GDM)
fails to start after the system finishes booting, and I am unable to switch to
any of the virtual consoles. It seems the system freezes up when trying to
start the display manager, and all I am able to do is power off the system by
holding down the power button.

In order to file this bug with reportbug I had to boot into recovery mode and
launch an X session from there, thus the Linux command line. Allowing the boot
process to continue results in the same issue as a normal boot.

I am fairly certain this is somehow related to the 3.11 RC kernel image because
the display manager starts properly using the other available kernel images.

I should probably also mention I am using Systemd for init due to it
essentially being required by GNOME, however I do not believe this should be an
issue.
