Bug#746642: Exactly same problem but found a temporary solution

Exactly the same problem with the following motherboard:
 Base Board Information
    Manufacturer: Intel Corporation
    Product Name: W2600CR
    Version: G21602-303

I "fixed" the problem using another HDD controller on the motherboard (another type).

I'm waiting for the next kernel before changing on my other machines.
