Bug#747257: linux-image-3.2.0-4-amd64: Wheezy kernel update in 7.5 won't resume from suspend correctly
Package: src:linux
Version: 3.2.54-2
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
The new wheezy 7.5 kernel 3.2.57-3 will not resume from pm-suspend on my laptop. The old 7.4 kernel 3.2.54-2 resumes from pm-suspend just fine.
When I resume the laptop (press the power button) from a pm-suspend on the 3.2.57-3 kernel the machine resumes with a blank screen forcing me to do a hard power off of the laptop and reboot it.
I am currently running the older 3.2.54-2 kernel as it is the one that works. I can reproduce the issue on the newer kernel and provide you with any logs.
jaimos
Here is a copy from /var/log/pm-suspend of the 3.2.57-3 kernel (failed resume):
