Control: severity -1 important Control: tag -1 upstream I recognise it's a major problem for you but I'm afraid it's not strictly a critical severity. I found a similar bug report against Fedora: <https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1050206>. That bug report has two patches which were supposed to fix it, and which worked for other reporters... but they are included in 3.13.4, so they apparently don't completely fix the bug.
