It appears that the fix for this bug has landed in Linus' tree for 3.14-to-be:

.... but has not yet made it into -stable because it needs adjustment for older
kernels. This mail thread suggests that it is meant to get there eventually,

If there's anything you can do to expedite the fix's appearance in Debian
