Bug#722263: linux-image-3.2.0-4-amd64: efivarfs is not supported by the Debian kernel.

Package: src:linux
Version: 3.2.46-1+deb7u1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

we are trying to setup Debin Linux in a UEFI Secure Boot environment using our own keying material. To be able to write to the UEFI Secure Boot nvram from Linux we need support for the efivarfs. Unfortunately this is not supported
on Debian Linux:
grep CONFIG_EFIVAR_FS config-<version>-amd64
# CONFIG_EFIVAR_FS is not set

All tools to introduce new keys, certificates and hashes, like the mokutil and the sbsigntools, require this filesystem.

Please consider supporting the EFIVARFS since it should not create any conflict with other options.
