Package:linux-image-2.6.26-2-amd64

Version : 2.6.26-21lenny4

Severity: important

I'm using Debian lenny and I'm experiencing this bug for about two days ago , the server was running fine about six months ago ,until those two days , this behaviour happened three times ,
and can't find a way to reproduce this behaviour as it happens in random times , each time the server freezes and no way to login using ssh ,
all i can do rebooting the machine via sysreq button. the server is running apache2, php5, no database on this server.

Server hardware (Dell PowerEdge 2950) :

Cpu : Two Quad-Core Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5440 @ 2.83GHz

Memory : 8 GB

here's a sample from the kernel log :

Hi,
your bug has been filed against the "linux-2.6" source package and was filed for
a kernel older than the recently released Debian 7.0 / Wheezy with a severity
less than important.

We don't have the ressources to reproduce the complete backlog of all older kernel
bugs, so we're closing this bug for now. If you can reproduce the bug with Debian Wheezy
or a more recent kernel from testing or unstable, please reopen the bug by sending
a mail to control@bugs.debian.org with the following three commands included in the
mail:

reopen BUGNUMBER
reassign BUGNUMBER src:linux
thanks

Cheers,
        Moritz
