Soft lockup issues since upgrading to kernel 3.2.39-2 in Debian Testing

Hello everybody,

First of all, I don't know if this is the most appropriate place to
report this. If not, I apologize in advance. But I thought it would be
better to discuss this in some Debian mailing list instead of just
reporting a bug.

I'm running Debian Testing and, since upgrading from kernel 3.2.35-2
to kernel 3.2.39-2 a few days ago, I've been having some soft lockup
issues which bring my machine to an almost complete freeze (I'm still
able to access it through ssh). The kind of error messages I'm
getting (extracted from dmesg) are shown at the end of this email. If
this is in fact a good place to discuss this, please let me know what
kind of information I need to provide in order to help pinpoint what
the problem is. I can say, however, that to me the problem seems to
be related to Virtualbox: every time the problem happened was a little
after launching Virtualbox.

Thank you,

Adriano
