Since a couple of days, I experience exactly the same symptom here, but slighty newer kernels. 3.10 used to work fine, after the upgrade to 3.11 (3.11.8-1), onboard audio is not even detected (ALC888 chipset according to the manufacturer). I would gladly provide more info if needed. Konstantinos
