Bug#730337: linux-image-3.10-3-amd64: Fails to enumerate USB3 device, sometimes hangs the system for seconds

Hi,

attaching a USB3 device mostly results in the following error messages:

Sometimes the system hangs for several seconds when attaching the device. The
sound stutters, the network connection breaks, no input is accepted:

And there the system is up again.


After trying long enough (sometimes a dozen tries is not enough) the device
can be attached successfully and is perfectly usable without any further
problems. Attaching it to a USB2 port works without problems.

This problem did already exist with previous kernel versions. If you need any
further information just tell me.
