Package: linux-2.6
Version: 2.6.32-34squeeze1
Severity: normal

I have problem with Debian Squeeze.

Kernel 2.6.32-5-xen-686 running as DOM0 under XEN hypervisor-4.0 on VIA C7 when padlock_aes is used, until I blaclisted padlock_aes and padlock_sha in /etc/modules... kernel oops-ed when I try to use cryptsetup to create and use encrypted block device. Sometimes oops-ed, sometimes hard-freezed after few seconds of using crypto block device.

I have tried to "upgrade" to testing and use XEN hypervisor-4.1, but the result unchanged.

When kernel is NOT running under XEN hypervisor no problem was encoutered.

Hi,
your bug has been filed against the "linux-2.6" source package and was filed for
a kernel older than the recently released Debian 7.x / Wheezy with a severity
less than important.

We don't have the ressources to reproduce the complete backlog of all older kernel
bugs, so we're closing this bug for now. If you can reproduce the bug with Debian Wheezy
or a more recent kernel from testing or unstable, please reopen the bug by sending
a mail to control@bugs.debian.org with the following three commands included in the
mail:

reopen BUGNUMBER
reassign BUGNUMBER src:linux
thanks

Cheers,
        Moritz
