Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

When running linux 3.8, after a while, a disk fails.

/var/log/kern.log is full of:

It first happened after installing 3.8-1~experimental.1. Since I use disk
mirroring (md), I tried to rebuild the failing partition, but it failed again
during rebuild. Of course, I though of an hardware failure. Having just
upgraded to 3.8, just to be sure, I rebooting on 3.7.x~experimental.y: no more
failure! Uptime of more than 2 weeks, without any problem.

This morning, I install 3.8.3-1~experimental.1. After 2 hours, a disk fails.

I found similar reports:
http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=289979&goto=newpost (comment #4)
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=787054 (comment #37)

I'm relunctant to reboot to 3.8. If both disks fails, my RAID will not help me...

Thanks,
Benoit
