Bug#705635: [drm:i915_hangcheck_hung] *ERROR* Hangcheck timer elapsed... GPU hung
Package: linux-image-3.2.0-4-amd64
Version: 3.2.41-2
After enabling VAAPI driver for my Intel HD GPU the GPU hungs on every new chromium tab, watching movies etc.
It's seems that other distributions had the same error: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=879823

ii xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.19.0-6 amd64 X.Org X server -- Intel i8xx, i9xx display driver
The GPU hungs are very annoying. Disabling the video accelaration IMHO is no option.
