Hi,
I found a working driver-source 'compat-wireless-3.6.8-1-snpc.tar.bz2'  
for AR8161 here:

http://wireless.kernel.org/en/users/Download/stable/#Additional_patches_to_stable_releases

With prerequisites
apt-get -s install build-essential linux-headers-`uname -r`
the source compiled on my Debian/wheezy with kernel linux-image-3.2.0-4-amd64

/compat-wireless-3.6.8-1-snpc#
./scripts/driver-select alx
make
make install
make unload
modprobe alx
