According to <http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=279344>,
this can happen if the power adapter cannot provide enough current to
charge the battery and run the computer at the same time.

Are you using the Asus power adapter or a third-party replacement?
Do you have any bus-powered USB drives plugged in?
