This is very strange - there don't seem to be any changes between 3.6.9
and 3.7.1 that could fix this.

Anyway, I don't believe that the problem you're seeing is related to
#614801 as you have a different XHCI chip and have been using much later
kernel versions.  Your bug report is now #698531; please follow-up
there.
