Bug#695968: linux-image-3.2.0-4-amd64: ath.ko starts printing thousands of error messages several minutes after boot

After several long and painful 'git bisect drivers/net/wireless/ath*'
sessions (too many false positives), I think I've come to the conclusion
that the issues in this bug disappear starting with
http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux-2.6.git;a=commit;h=9b4e9e756541fd5d1223b323ed5a8a8545dd11cd

Of course there are many other changes under drivers/net/wireless/ath*
to get from a 3.2 kernel to that commit.

The system will not run with the Debian 3.2 kernel (or any vanilla 3.3
kernel) for a full day without hitting the errors described previously,
but with the above kernel commit it has run for over two days without
issue.
