Wheezy boots with a black screen without possibility of using the CLI and GUI. I tried more kernels (>=2.6.38) manifesting the same problem. I have the i915 video chip.

Based on the upstream bug report, you found a workaround but didn't
answer questions that would help to find a proper fix.  Since that bug
report is now closed, I'm closing this as well.
