Did you get a chance to test that?
A pre-compiled kernel package of 2.6.37 is available from
<http://snapshot.debian.org/package/linux-2.6/>. If you no longer
have access to affected hardware or do not have time to test, that's
fine, but please do let us know so we can plan accordingly.
