There's a spelling mistake here: the kernel parameter disabling
rc6 should be spelled "i915.i915_enable_rc6=0", since it's a module
parameter for the i915 module.

After trying that, what would be most useful is probably to test the
precompiled 3.3~rc6-1~experimental.1 package from
<http://snapshot.debian.org/package/linux-2.6/>.
