Codec is an IDT 92HD81B1X5. I don't see any relevant fixes upstream
(there's something promising for IDT 92HD91 but that's a different
codec), so please report this upstream to either
- alsa-devel@alsa-project.org, cc-ing Takashi Iwai <tiwai@suse.de>,
Vitaliy Kulikov <Vitaliy.Kulikov@idt.com>, and either me or this
bug so we can track it, or
- bugzilla.kernel.org, product Drivers, component Sound (ALSA), and
let us know the bug number so we can track it.
Be sure to mention:
- exact steps you are using to reproduce (which audio player, etc)
- which kernel versions you have tested and what happened in each
- corresponding alsa-info output, as links or attachments
- any workarounds or other weird observations
If we're lucky, Takashi or Vitaliy might have hints for tracking
down the problem.
If you have time for it, it might also be worth experimenting with
hda-analyzer from [1], as in the example [2].
