What version is the linux-image-3.2.0-2-486 package? (3.2.0-2-486 is
not a version number --- it's just part of the package name. You can
get the version of the running kernel with "cat /proc/version", of the
installed kernel with "dpkg-query -W linux-image-$(uname -r)", and of
previously installed kernels by looking through /var/log/dpkg.log*.)

Kernel panic - not syncing: Fatal exception in interrupt
Can you reproduce this using the 3.7.y kernel from experimental?
If so, please try applying the patches from [1]. If you'd like more
