Hi,

I'm running linux-image-3.2.0-2-686-pae version 3.2.16-1 on debian wheezy. I
unsuccessfully tried version 3.2.17-1 from sid. The laptop is a Fujitsu Siemens
Amilo pi2515. My /proc/bus/input/devices says:

[...]
I: Bus=0011 Vendor=0002 Product=0001 Version=0063

H: Handlers=mouse0 event7
B: PROP=0
B: EV=7
B: KEY=70000 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0

[...]

Any hint?

If I remember correctly, overriding the magic knock check was not
enough to make the Elan features work, so it's not clear how to move
forward from here. Therefore closing. If you learn anything more
about the protocol used on this notebook (from documentation or
reverse-engineering), we'd be happy to revisit it, though.

Thanks again for a clear and pleasant report.

Sincerely,
Jonathan
