Oddly, after a hard reboot (i.e. power off completely, then power on), I
can't reproduce this any more. I've had it happen in the past, so it
wasn't some sort of one-time fluke, but I've just spent an hour trying
to reproduce it again and it isn't happening.

Thanks for getting back to me, and apologies that I can't be more
helpful. You can close this bug for now and I'll re-open it with dmesg
output if I can get it to happen again, perhaps?
