Bug#683807: good news
ok,
1 day and 7 hours uptime.
No problems, if i exclude:
1) [at ~ 24hrs uptime] an iceweasel segfault (no message on syslog, the
browser simply disappeared) that was open since yesterday and problably is
nothing strange.
2) a vlc crash , *probably* caused by the DVB-T broadcaster, RAI (http://rai.
it). I opened #684313 for that. Runtime was ~24 hours.
So,
I think the problem was related to the bbswitch and nvidia kernel modules (or
just one of the two).
I'll do some more testing in the next weeks, but i'd like to take a break to
play Urt now :D

Probably this is neither an nvidia driver bug. Maybe it's caused by the
"optimus" technology.
As you said, bumblebee is not perfect. Maybe for my pc the only option is to
keep it in 'nvidia mode' and when i want to switch to 'powersave-mode' i'll
need to reboot with bumblebee and nvidia uninstalled.
So what if i try to boot the system, immediatly load the nvidia driver and i
always keep it loaded? (lock bbswitch or bumblebee so that there is no switch
at all)
All the crashes will stop occuring?
