I would say it's not a good idea, but it shouldn't cause a crash.

I can see that.  However I don't know whether bumblebee is really
stable.  (It is at least under GPL, so it's possible to check what it's
doing.)  Also the nvidia module could cause memory corruption that only
becomes apparent after is is unloaded.

Can you try using the system without bumblebee and nvidia for a while?
