Hi,

My favorite lazy response to a bug report is "please bisect", since it
has a very good chance of leading to a fix. But in practice it turns
out to not work so well from the "lazy" side, since there is no
obvious place to point people to to explain how to bisect. This
series is meant to address that.

Patch 1 is unrelated --- it just bumps the copyright year.
Patch 2 makes diffs look a little less weird by employing consistent
whitespace.
Patch 3 is the title feature.

I hope it is of some use. Thoughts of all kinds welcome.
