Rebooting solved the issue. Why it has been wrong before rebooting?
uname now says:

Linux g5 3.2.0-2-powerpc64 #1 SMP Sun Apr 15 18:45:28 UTC 2012 ppc64 GNU/Linux

(the same 3.2.0-2-powerpc64 #1 kernel)
