Package: linux-2.6 Severity: wishlist Tags: patch Hi guys, As mentioned a few months back, we're using several of these machines as build daemons for the armel architecture. More details at http://blog.einval.com/2010/09/27#marvell_buildds We were hoping that these machines could be made to work with the existing kirkwood kernel flavour, but experimentation says not. I've built a local kernel which works, starting from the 2.6.32 kirkwood config and modifying it as little as possible; config at http://www.einval.com/~steve/debian/marvell/marvell.config/ Please could you add a new kernel flavour for these machines? It would make things much easier for us in keeping the machines up-to-date with security etc. It'll slow things down slightly wrt kernel builds (of course), but they'll be responsible for building their own kernels anyway... Thanks! -- System Information: Debian Release: 6.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash
