Many ioctl operations have been disabled on disk partitions and
logical volumes because they can affect the whole disk. (This problem
is designated CVE-2011-4127.) It is supposed to be possible to assign a
partition or LV to some user without letting them access any other
part of the disk.

Operations that fail due to this new restriction are logged so that if
this breaks some program it is easy to see which operation it was
attempting. But if mdadm continues to work properly, don't worry
about it.

Ben.
