Dear maintainers, 

after updating from kernell version 3.1.0 to 3.2.0 I got no sound any more. In the shell I can see, that files are played, but
there is no sound. The behaviour of this bug is exactly described as in bug #658728, but I got another hardware (ALC 268).

I am sending the output of "alsa-info.sh --no-upload", hope this helps. Sadly I did not find kernel 3.1.0 in the repositories, 
as it is gone. Seems, backports.debian.org does it yet not offer. Please excuse, that I cannot send an alsa-info with working sound
for that reason. :(

Closing.  But if there is some way to make these controls not default
to -61 dB, that would help others avoid experiencing the same
regression.

By the way, when you ran into trouble, where (if anywhere) did you
look for help?  Perhaps there is some place we could add a note to
documentation to help the next person?
