Hm, sorry we missed this before.  Sounds vaguely familiar.  What kernel are
you using these days?  Can you still reproduce this with current squeeze
kernels?

If so, please attach full output from "reportbug --template
xserver-xorg-video-radeon" and from "dmesg" so we can get to know your
hardware better.
