Sounds like nothing good.  There's a proposed patch described at
<http://bugs.debian.org/587763> but we can't apply it unless it is tested
against a 2.6.32-based kernel and confirmed to fix the problem.  So:

 - are you still interested in pursuing this?
 - if so, is there anything I can do to help?
