Sorry, I don't believe this can be fixed in Debian 6.0 'squeeze'.  There
have been many other changes to the IPv6 address configuration code and
I don't think we can safely cherry-pick these.

Install a kernel from testing/unstable.  You will currently find Linux
3.2 in unstable, and this is likely to be the version we use in Debian
7.0 'wheezy'.
