Hi, Yekta.

I fail to see that usbmount has anything to do with this, besides it
automatically mounting devices (for the user's safety) with the sync option.
The sync option can, indeed, lead to "degradation of performance", as
mentioned in /usr/share/doc/usbmount and the configuration file under
/etc/usbmount contains the following:

  #############################################################################
  # WARNING! #
  # #
  # The "sync" option may not be a good choice to use with flash drives, as #
  # it forces a greater amount of writing operating on the drive. This makes #
  # the writing speed considerably lower and also leads to a faster wear out #
  # of the disk. #
  # #
  # If you omit it, don't forget to use the command "sync" to synchronize the #
  # data on your disk before removing the drive or you may experience data #
  # loss. #
  # #
  # It is highly recommended that you use the pumount command (as a regular #
  # user) before unplugging the device. It makes calling the "sync" command #
  # and mounting with the sync option unnecessary---this is similar to other #
  # operating system's "safely disconnect the device" option. #
  #############################################################################

Yes, with that border. :)

Actually, you should never install usbmount in your computers unless you
really know what usbmount does. It's not intended for regular desktop users.

That is, if you have usbmount installed (which you didn't mention, but filed
a bug to). If you have it in a desktop, you will probably want distance from
it (read: "dpkg --purge usbmount"), unless you know it better.

So, do you have usbmount installed? If not, then the paragraphs above still
apply and I will put that in the description of the package in next uploads.
