Thanks for your continued work on tracking this.  All I have to offer
are some administrivia this time.  (But as always, I'm still thinking
about ways to get to the heart of the thing.)

It's a duplicate of message#10 to bug 623004.  That message shares
warning messages with the original report at bug 623004, but it's not
clear to me that they are the same bug.  So let's continue to track it
as bug#644174.
