Package: linux-2.6
Version: 2.6.37-2
Severity: normal

After suspending to RAM and then resuming, the screen sometimes
remains black (but with the backlight on) and the unlock prompt does not
appear when I press a key. However, magic-SysRq still works. I infer
from this that the i915 driver or hardware, rather than the keyboard
driver or anything more fundamental, has locked up.

The system resumed reliably with 2.6.32-30.

The kernel log below shows a suspend and resume cycle where this
occurred.

Ben.
