Bug#652897: SATA Controller Driver Not Working
Package: src:linux-2.6
Version: 3.1.5-1
I have talked to Ben regarding the bug in the driver for the SATA
controller. He mentioned to me to email you guys so you can include the
driver in the next nightly installer.
The device name and ID are:
00:1f.2 SATA controller [0106]: Intel Corporation Patsburg 6-Port SATA AHCI Controller [8086:1d02] (rev 05)
05:00.0 Serial Attached SCSI controller [0107]: Intel Corporation
Patsburg 4-Port SATA/SAS Storage Control Unit [8086:1d69] (rev 05)
05:00.3 SMBus [0c05]: Intel Corporation Patsburg SMBus Controller 0 [8086:1d70] (rev 05)
The
reason why I need these ones is because when I run my installer, the
hard drive can not be found since the controller is not functioning. I
hope that this driver can be included in the next kernel or installation
file.
I am using Debian Wheezy nightly build (12/20/2011)
Thanks,
Vaha
