According to Distrowatch, Mint version 9 has Linux 2.6.32 and version 11
has Linux 2.6.38. The only fix I can see to the standard tulip driver
between those versions is related to suspend/resume. (There are quite a
few other changes, but they are clean-ups and adjustment for API
changes. They are unlikely to have fixed any bugs.)

If the tulip driver in Debian's stable release (6.0 'squeeze') doesn't
work with this chip, please report a separate bug.

Ben.
