Hey,

I have 2 servers Dell 2950 and try to use it as a email cluster.
I use DRBD with OCFS2 over it. Both nodes is reboot on heavy load every time.

I can confirm what on configuration above(all testing + kernel
2.6.36-rc5) I don`t got a reboot. iozone complete successfully without
any problems

Quick questions:

  - Can you remind me what happened with the 2.6.35.6 kernel? Did it
exhibit the same symptoms or not?

    - If so, would you be willing to bisect? It involves building some
intermediate kernels from source and testing them. I can guide
      you through the process.

    - If not, could you try some intermediate kernels from
snapshot.debian.org so we can narrow down when the fix was
      introduced?

Thanks a lot for a thorough report, and sorry for the long silence.

Hello.

Wow, it`s really take long time. :-)
I`m sorry but I now on other job and don`t have this servers and such task. So I can`t reproduce it.

AFAIR on 2.6.35.6 I have problems with Dell raid drivers so I can`t test it and on 2.6.36-rc5 my test with iozone was completed successfully. So I think it was a kernel problem(other env not changed), may be drivers.

But again - sorry, I can`t test it any more.
But if you find\confirm\fix this problem I will be glad if you can inform me. May be I will use this setup in future.
