Jamie, would a patch like the following make sense to you? Do you
remember whether openfw-12.4.11.tar.bz2 was obtained from the website
or from a CD? (If not, that's fine, and a better patch can just say
"obtained from Alteon".) If I can trust the dates, it looks like the
tarball was repacked on 2001-08-02 --- does that make sense? Do you
know where one can find the details marked in brackets, or is the only
way to find out to try rebuilding the firmware and check for
differences?
