With the previous kernel 2.6.26, boot messages are displayed on the obp console (black text/white background) until handover to tty0 (white text/black background). Then the screen changes to tty0 and the rest of the boot process is displayed.
With kernel 2.6.32, the console handover doesn't happen and boot seems to be frozen at that point. I cannot ssh into the machine.
